The itemized list that follows will provide you with a recap of projects and items that have been addressed through your community.

 

  1. Brodie Management:            The final bill from Heidler arrived for the main line water break in front of 902.  The cost was $3862.00.  The total expensed for this problem was:  $7397.61

This figure was comprised by the following:

            a.         Initial cleaning of carpet             $305.

            b.         Television Equipment Co.                     $799.99

            c.         Heidler Plumbing sump pump line          $510.50

            d.         American Leak Detection                     $625.

            e.         Environmental Testing               $35.

            f.          Re-imbursement of the Ewings  $1260.12

                        TOTAL            $7397.61

 

  1. Street Light 1002:      The street light was repaired by Bausum & Duckett at a cost of $492.85

 

  1. Roof Repairs:                       

a.         1203 scuppers clogged with leaves; water wasn’t draining                     $280.

b.         800      found the modified membrane was deteriorated with wrinkles.  Installed a 6’ X 4’ patch near the scupper                                                $515.

c.         202      nails sticking up through the shingles. Nail needed pulled out; area caulked with Vulkem.                                                                                    $375.

  1. Brick Wall:     The brick wall at the tennis court has been repaired at a cost of  $1080. by Pastrana and Associates

 

 

  1. Budget:           Met with Ray Turner and Laurie Fountain on Friday October 8th to review the budget and identify some issues that were observed.

 

 

 

 

6.   Contacted Brickman to obtain a price for 2005 season.  Tim Bonner issued the following bid:                2005    -0- increase same as 2004 $34,116.00

                                          2006    3%                                           $35,136.00

                                          2007    2%                                           $35,844.00

 

7.   Corporate Services has issued a bid retroactive to August 1, 2004 and ending December 31, 2005 in the amount of $840.00.  They are not asking for a price increase.  See attached and approve if agreeable.

 

8    Solicited a bid from American Pools just for comparison sake which I have attached.
