Dear Community Leaders and Residents of North Bestgate Road:
A site plan for 635 North Bestgate Road (also known as 627) was submitted to the County Planning and Zoning on 12/18/08. You may view this through Subdivision Activity For South B Development Review Team (C-2008-098)(http://www.aacounty.org/LandUse/SubActivityMaps/Resources/SouthBTable.pdf). We try to keep you updated as best we can, however, it is good for community leaders to check this website periodically as well as the Pre-Submission Community Meetings Calendar for Council District Six (http://www.aacounty.org/LandUse/CalendarPreSub.cfm).
As you may remember, the property requires a variance for a 60' set back from Rowe Blvd and there will be a public hearing as part of the variance process. Suzy Schappert of P&Z reports that they have not filed an application for a variance as of this date. Kathy Shatt of P&Z also says that anyone may come in to their office and view the plan: 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m., 2664 Riva Road, third floor.
As an update, you may already know this but we were informed by Frank Arsenault on 1/22/09 that The Lindamoor Improvement Association Board of Directors will not enter into the agreement proposed by Dimitri Sfakiyanudis....."We plan to inform our members at the annual meeting in early March of the development proposed by him and ask their views on possible LIA or individual resident actions." In our 12/19/08 email to community leaders we suggested, "....that you designate someone in your community to accept comments, recommendations, changes, etc., and communicate this information directly to Alan Hyatt @ AHyatt@hwlaw.com or 410-260-6570 for further discussion."

Area:
There are two matters of importance in this email re: 1) 635 N Bestgate Road and 2) Invitation from Holy Temple Church of God to attend a meeting at the Arundel Center to discuss this property (708 Bestgate Road).
This email is being sent to those who were in attendance at the two meetings in April and November 2008 concerning 635 N Bestgate Road . I do not have Jim Spence's email and would appreciate your forwarding it to him and/or providing me with his contact information.
1. 635 N Bestgate Road (also known as 627 N Bestgate): Attached is a draft agreement between Dimitri Sfakiyanudis and the unnamed community association which Alan Hyatt requested be shared with you for review. The draft agreement is based on discussions at the November 10, 2008 meeting. Suggest that you designate someone in your community to accept comments, recommendations, changes, etc., and communicate this information directly to Alan Hyatt @ AHyatt@hwlaw.com or 410-260-6570 for further discussion.
Also attached is an electronic version of the minutes some of you received in the mail on the November 11, 2008 meeting.

2. Holy Temple Church of God (708 Bestgate Road): Alan Hyatt asked us to extend the following invitation from Bishop Baltimore and John Swearinger of Holy Temple Church of God to attend a meeting at the Arundel Center on Monday, January 5, 2008, 5:30 p.m., here at the Arundel Center, Room 161 (First Floor), 44 Calvert Street, Annapolis. We may validate your parking if you park in the Whitmore Garage at Calvert and Clay Streets. Please RSVP and let us know if you are able to attend.
